Not sure which clothes will fit your doll? You're not alone β doll sizing can be tricky! Use this guide to identify your doll type and shop with confidence.
π©· How to Identify Your Doll Type
Most fashion dolls in our store are designed for 11.5-inch (1:6 scale) fashion dolls, but body proportions vary. Here's how to tell them apart:
Regular (Original) Body
- The classic slender silhouette
- Narrower hips and waist
- Fits most standard 11.5" fashion doll clothing
- Look for: "regular," "standard," or "original body" in our product descriptions
Curvy Body
- Fuller hips, thighs, and bust
- Clothing made for regular dolls will be too tight and may not close
- Fits clothing labeled "curvy" β these are cut wider in the hips and thighs
- Look for: "curvy," "curvy and tall" in our product descriptions
Tall Body
- Same slim proportions as the regular body but several millimeters taller
- Regular-length skirts and pants may be short on tall dolls
- Some items are labeled to fit both tall and curvy dolls β check the description
- Look for: "tall," "curvy and tall" in our product descriptions
Made to Move / Petite / Extra-Tall
- Made to Move: Articulated joints, very similar proportions to the regular body β most regular-fit clothing works
- Petite: Shorter and slimmer β clothing will be too long and loose
- Extra-Tall: Taller with longer legs β most standard items will be too short
- We note Made to Move compatibility in product descriptions where applicable
